Online Grocery Shopping Habits (Australia, Thailand)

Business Issues & Project Objectives

Our client, a consumer packaged goods company, wanted to understand how shopper habits and priorities have changed due to Covid 19 pandemic – in both Thailand and Australia. Hence, we were interested in how consumers shopped and chose brands during this time; and how connections with brands were formed and maintained (and how this has changed in recent years – including impact on CSR and sustainable practices)..

Our Approach

We did a market research in Australia and Thailand by conducting online shop-alongs and also online in-depth interviews with a range of consumers, across key categories and preferred brands

Outcome and Project Impact

Identified emerging trends in brand engagement, including the importance of locally made / owned products, environmental issues, ethical business practices corporate responsibility and social inclusion.
